My favorite type of art to create is one-of-a-kind nature-based work that uses recycled and upcycled materials to preserve and enhance the enchantment of the natural world. I enjoy bringing nature into the home while preserving its living, thriving roots. Each piece becomes a reflection of perception in nature, where familiar organic objects are reimagined while still honoring their raw elements and original form.

I find inspiration directly from the natural, organic world we inhabit and our relationship with it. I am drawn to the spiritual pathway within nature—its cycles, its resilience, and its hidden stories. I often think about the journey of natural objects that are so often overlooked: what storms they endured, how they changed over time, and the life they continue to hold even after being uprooted. I create to revel in these mysteries rather than define them.

If awarded, I would use this opportunity to expand my creative process and grow into larger-scale work. My pieces have always been deeply hands-on, and I aim to carry that same personal connection into new dimensions. With each collection, I challenge myself to create something different. This support would allow me to push my work further while staying true to its natural, organic foundation.
