I create art to transmute energy, to tell a story, communicate a vibe or a moment. I create because I have no choice; space will be held.

My passion is creating art that is a visual manifestation, translation - a decoding of a sonic cipher, if you will - of whatever music is currently throwing my body and heart-mind into fluid fits of frisson. Typically found object, assemblage mixed media on upcycled substrate.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in my own, and others' cycles of growth and coming into one's divine feminine. I am mostly inspired by ethereal, otherworldly, sonic blooms of song by bands and musicians like Stick Figure, Tori Amos, Samuel Barber, Kash'd Out, Sleep Token, In This Moment, Joni Mitchell, Florence + The Machine, Tool, etc. I am also inspired by my rage and sadness over what my country has become.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest $25k into the accessible, art workshop nonprofit that I am currently organizing and planning on paper. I believe that everyone should have accessibility to create art - regardless of status or circumstances. Strategically and uniquely building this for sober living homes, trafficking recovery houses, and other populations who are in seasons of recovery, rebuilding, or in crisis. Everyone leaves with supplies that don't even require water, should they become displaced again.
