Connect What is your favorite type of art to create?

My favorite type of art to create is painting. As a student, I enjoy experimenting with different materials, but watercolor is my favorite. I believe watercolor expresses emotions most effectively. It allows both precise work and spontaneous sketches on wet paper. The process of working with watercolor helps me clear my mind and feel free while creating.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration in my personal story and my interests. I lived in a village for a long time, where I developed a deep appreciation for nature. This experience shaped my love for my homeland, which I hope to express more in my art. However, my main source of inspiration right now is current events. The things happening in the world are impossible to ignore; they deserve attention and thoughtful reflection. That is why I am currently exploring this theme in my work.

What would you do with $25,000?

I would invest this money in my future as an immigrant student building a new life in the United States. After moving here, I started over from ESL classes and slowly rebuilt my academic path in art and design. Therefore, this money would be very helpful for me as a beginning artist, especially for buying art materials. With this support, I could also purchase a good camera to document and share my art. This would help me promote my work and expand my opportunities to participate in exhibitions.
