My favorite type of art to create is something that makes an instant connection. As a multidisciplinary artist I don't have a specific medium/practice that is my favorite, I just love creating. My art is mostly intuitive, the idea creates the path of the type of artwork it will be. The common denominator in all my work is that it makes you feel seen and powerful.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in nature, in emotion, and in intuition. Nature holds beauty even in its chaos, much like our inner world. To me, inspiration is everywhere and it reveals itself when you’re willing to look.
What would you do with $25,000?Receiving $25,000 would be a transformative step toward bringing my life long vision of creating a unique, artist residency based in nature. I want to create an environment designed to inspire all types of artists to slow down, reconnect, learn and produce meaningful work. This funding would allow me to begin my search for the right space, where creativity and the natural world intersect.
