I love creating art because it is a ritual of love, healing, and freedom. It gives me a place to pause, reconnect with myself, & the world.

I am most drawn to creating images that feel like objects of desire. My work often uses cameraless photography, appropriated media images, and installation to question how images shape the way we see ourselves and the world. I love making art from images and about images, and this way transforming what already exists into alternate realities, new meanings, and emotional spaces.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the world of women: our struggles, dreams, secrets, and power. I am also deeply inspired by media culture and the way images influence our identities, bodies, and desires. I am fascinated by how images can shape reality, how they can seduce us, control us, comfort us, or help us imagine something beyond what we know.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I would be able to rent a studio, buy materials, and dedicate time to researching and creating a new installation project I have been dreaming about. The work explores our relationship with social media images and how these representations affect the way we see our bodies, our desires, and our lives. This support would give me the space and resources to bring that vision fully to life.
