I make art to turn lived experience into connection, so others feel seen, and less alone, with hope for healing along the way.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite art to create is public-facing, transformative art through murals and canvas work rooted in real human experience. My style blends storytelling and layered imagery to turn emotion into connection, inviting people to feel seen. There is an invitation to reflect, and connect with themselves and each other, finding healing and hope. I love blending abstract with realism, surrealism. Whatever I can use to bring a smile , make you wonder and think about what’s possible.
Where do you find inspiration?I’m inspired by the quiet ways people show up for each other—the unexpected kindness, the resilience it takes to keep going, and the stories we all carry. I’m also inspired by nature’s ability to endure, adapt, and continue creating beauty, reminding me that healing and hope are always possible.
What would you do with $25,000?If awarded this grant, I will create a public-facing mural exploring unseen struggles and the resilience that connects us. To hopefully become a series I can paint across the country. Blending human figures with nature, the work will express healing and hope. Community reflections will be woven into the piece, inviting people to see themselves and each other. This mural is meant to be felt—creating space for connection and shared humanity.
