I love to create art because technically you don’t need any skill set. Art is suggestive and whatever feels right to you is ART.

I love to paint with watercolor. Recently I have started to use procreate and really enjoy the digital art aspect.
Where do you find inspiration?I always find inspiration in emotions. Like what emotions are provoked how they are expressed. The watercolor piece I’m using for this contest is a perfect example. In college we had to take a art class (I didn’t go to school for art) and we had a prompt to paint “it’s not what it looks like” everyone’s paint was literal to that and I painted what it felt when you’re trying to express “it’s not what it looks like”.
What would you do with $25,000?With the $25,000 I will use to help start my professional development journey in art. When I was younger I was always drawling, coloring and creating. Unfortunately I never had anyone who believed me when I said I want to be an artist when I grow up. I was told no you can’t do that that’s not a real job. So the last couple years I’ve been trying to get my spark back into a lost passion I had. And give that 10 year old Kayla a real shot at something she loved as well as 29 year old me.
