Kaylee Lamb

Creating art is my coping skill. I use it to connect more with my values such as nature, life, love, etc. It is therapy for the therapist.

What is your favorite type of art to create?

I would love to explore more art forms, as my experience is limited. I enjoy poetry, writing, and painting. I also have a passion for photography!

Where do you find inspiration?

Nature is a major source of inspiration fot me. I also find inspiration in people. I have the opportunity to learn from many people in my career as a mental health therapist. I get inspired by emotion- especially more intense feelings such as pain, awe, rage, grief, etc.

What would you do with $25,000?

I would use this money as a way to bring me closer to the goal of starting my private practice. This could give me an opportunity to finish some projects I've started. I'm most eager to complete some books I'm writing in my limited free time as well as give energy to creating a new therapy model which has been a vision of mine for several years.
