I love to create art, because it gives me the power to create a community where people can feel heard, loved, and understood.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love to write and create stories that bend the dimensions between life and death. I also love to create short films/docs/stories about mental health awareness and talk about the importance of being more aware of the demons the person next to you may be battling.
Where do you find inspiration?I find a lot of my inspiration in music of all kinds that speaks to my heart and soul, personal and tragic events that have left me with emotions that I felt needed to be expressed in a creative manner, and through my dreams where I turn my nightmares into a relatable reality.
What would you do with $25,000?First, and foremost, I would use half of it to open a creative department in children’s hospital nationwide, to bring light at their darkest times, and to use art as a type of therapy to get them through their challenging times. Then I would pay off creative loans that helped me launch my first book, and then I would use the rest of the money to create the most compelling and beautiful short films that will inspire millions.
