I love to work in pencil and charcoal. I mainly work from people's cherished photos of special family members and pets, creating a one-of-a-kind gift immortalizing their loved ones.
Where do you find inspiration?Being that I am mainly a portrait artist and work on commissions from family members, my inspiration comes form their photos. I ask for several photo choices and choose one or two that inspire me with a certain expression or the warmth in their eyes. I tmeans the world when a client tells me I captured a family member's or pet's personality.
What would you do with $25,000?Possibly take a trip that will inspire me to create a different type of art to expand the nature of my work. I recently closed my shop after the building was sold and would love to have the money to open a new storefront/studio in a beautiful, local craft village near where I live.
