Sundance’d Wood is forgotten lumber is given a second life, Rooted in rawness, earth, and spirit, intentionally imperfect and one of a kind.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love creating the one of a kind, dark trippy art. Pieces that create conversations, that get handed down through generations, turned instant heirlooms. Gifts that are given which the recipient cannot hold back their emotions, seeing their reaction is priceless. And that fuels me to strive even more, that i need to reach more people and bring them together in ways only art can. Also i absolutely love creating storefront signs,i drive past them and point them out to my kids,”look i made that!!”
Where do you find inspiration?Nature, I pull a ton of inspiration from being outdoors. From the colors , scents , the seasons. Hiking and meditation are a beautiful combination for inspiration. My children inspire so much as well, their faith in my talent is so uplifting, especially during artist blocks. My partner Daniela, her support, love and guidance, keeps me inspired. Being around other likeminded artists.
What would you do with $25,000?UPGRADE. All the tools i used are pretty much on their last leg, from routers, planers, saws and many more wood working tools. A plotter / printer to expand my art with offering vinyl signage. Full Steam ahead with Sundance’d Wood.
