My creative nature requires an emotive expression. if I don’t create, I feel lost and listless. Auditory or visual, both bring me balance.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
It’s tough to choose. Art of all kinds have saved me time after time. But my primary expressive outlet, these days, is Visual Art. Colorful expressionistic or impressionistic works that capture life in vibrant colorful palettes
Where do you find inspiration?I take inspiration from all sorts of real world experience and recreate it in my own vibrant language. Natural beauty, human form, architectural, Floral arrangements, creatures. Any beauty that catches my eye and my curiosity, or makes my heart thump. And sometimes my inspiration is a direct expression of my own pain. A cathartic release. That can be beautiful too can’t it?
What would you do with $25,000?Winning the people’s artist would be a dream! I would reinvest in my art. Materials, paint, frames etc. it would also encourage me to dive further into entering the world of gallery artists, exhibit shows and reach for the ultimate dream, perusing a self sustaining art career / life / adventure. But to be honest, my interest lies less in the money and more the accomplishment and influence from recognition.
