I love to create art because, it makes me happy, it stops reality for as long as it takes me to make that piece.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I am a glassblower/lampworker specializing in intricate vortex sea turtle pendants and figurines. I love to make other figurines as well like little gnomes, cows, pigs, flamingos and more
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from the quiet moments at the torch where reality fades. I love the challenge of bringing 3D forms from my imagination to life; whether it's a happy little creature with its own personality or a precious memorial piece, I find beauty in the transformation of molten glass
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in a larger professional kiln to scale my business. Currently, my capacity is limited to about six pieces at a time; a larger kiln would allow me to increase inventory and take on more complex projects. With the remaining funds, I’d love to pay it forward by sourcing supplies from other independent artists and supporting the small business community that has always been there for me.
