Creating art is very healing for me. It puts me in a meditative state, and brings me happiness. It’s calming and brings me a sense of wonder

I love working in many mediums. From oils paints, multi media, gourd art, bead work with seed beads, to art dolls. I love different mediums for different reasons, but if I had to choose, I’d say that I get the most satisfaction from creating art dolls. I’ve made cloth dolls, and multi media dolls with all types of clay. From fired clay, polymer, paper clay and home made cold porcelain. I love how cold porcelain is semi transparent and has a lifelike appearance. I love seeing dolls come to life.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in nature and wildlife. I’m also a visionary artist. I love especially love creating art that makes me feel like I’m in another place or time. I love creating art that gives me a feeling of nostalgia, and takes me back in time, when life was simpler. I also find inspiration from spiritual experiences. I’m very eclectic spiritually and find inspiration from things I connect with spiritually.
What would you do with $25,000?I would buy a new roof for my house, a big outdoor catio for my cats and a used car that’s good on gas.
