I love watercolor and acrylic painting. i love to write….to use my own photography in collages, and hunt for beautiful and inspiring images to unite someone else’s creativity and vision with my own. I am inspired to create with my words, and the words of others. There really are no limits to one’s own creativity, and I continually love to explore my own, and encourage others to explore their own Whimsy!
Where do you find inspiration?As a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist, I am inspired by the creativity and curiosity of children! I find inspiration in new places, life’s lessons, the words and music of others, and the beauty of nature! I am inspired by those who encourage people to do what they once thought impossible! Most of all, I am inspired by anything that makes me think, giggle, laugh, smile, connect, and see the world through a lens of whimsy, wonder, and possibility!
What would you do with $25,000?For me, right now in my own life, creating art is soothing my soul and helping me to make beautiful moments with my Mom.We connect through art and creativity. We are most wanting to get her home from an extended hospital stay. $25,000.00 would help us to obtain the necessary durable medical equipment and create in home care we need to bring her home where she can be surrounded by those she loves. From there, we intend to begin our Whimsy in the Rockies art retreats, again, where ART & PLAY live!
