I draw the symbols in my mind to better understand my thoughts and feelings. Creating art brings me peace.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite art to create is emotionally driven work that explores duality, healing, and inner transformation. I love creating pieces that portray a darker aesthetic while hinting at hope, balance, and meaning. For me, art is a way to explore feelings and bring subconscious thoughts to the surface. It is also a way for me to communicate things that are otherwise difficult to put into words.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration through meditation and self reflection. Sitting with what I am feeling and considering how those emotions connect to my life helps me better understand myself and often becomes the starting point for my work. I am also inspired by psychology and philosophy, which deepen my understanding of the inner world and help me translate abstract thoughts and emotions into visual works of art.
What would you do with $25,000?If awarded $25,000, I would use the funds to professionally frame my original artwork and invest in the supplies needed to participate in local art markets. These opportunities would allow me to share my work more widely and continue building my presence as an artist. I would also set aside a portion toward a future down payment on a home, supporting long term stability for my family as I pursue this path.
