The form of communication through art amazes me, the image brings forth such complex ideas that vary depending on each person, it’s so cool!

I love making monsters, my mind has always been fractured into these surreal emotions that always haunted me in ways of anxiety, or even depression, as I struggled with those( and many other) emotions I found that I was able to not just feel them but see them, inside my mind these emotions were turned into creatures that I could put down onto a page. I started this as a sort of meditation to be able to leave that monster on the page and walk away lighter than when they just lived inside my mind.
Where do you find inspiration?Nightmares have always been my go to, where most would wake from them in cold sweats I sat in the fear and cataloged how it made me feel and what brought that feeling forward maybe I dream of a slime monster that is slowly consuming me, I should be scared in these fictionalized moments of the mind but instead they fill me with glee because I have finally found my next piece. There’s no greater feeling then being out of ideas and then you create them seemingly out of nowhere, it’s truly magic.
What would you do with $25,000?I would get myself a car, it would be a huge step in the next big journey of my life, but honestly I am not here for the money, I’m just so excited to share my art with such talented people and to see all of the amazing work everyone’s doing! It feels so great knowing that I’m able to have this opportunity to have my art reach places it’s never been before I believe we all equally have something big to say and I want to hear everyone’s perspectives through their own art, there’s nothing cooler.
