My favorite type of art to create is cityscape and building architecture. I can see the time and thoughtfulness put into great architecture be it new or old. I can imagine the people it took to build such buildings and what their lives might have been like.
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration in researching the history of an area and what was happening in that moment in time when a building is built. Was it a thriving time or was it a depressed time and area where people struggled to get by and any job no matter how dangerous, they would take it. The beauty of architecture goes deeper when you have a broader understanding of what went into it.
What would you do with $25,000?First, I would but more top notch photography gear and travel the United States documenting the history of human and civil rights through photos. History is being forgotten and I feel drawn to keep it alive and talked about through my photos.
