My favorite type of art to create is music and performance art that spans disciplines and mediums. I find fulfillment in creating conscious Hip-Hop that incorporates traditional beats, instrumentation, field recordings, found audio, samples, etc. I enjoy developing collaborative performance works with musicians and dancers, and also curating multimedia variety shows that feature a diverse lineup of my collaborators and peers.

I find inspiration from life, love, and loss. I am an avid reader and a line of poetry or a piece of dialogue may serve as the catalyst for a new work. I escape into nature as much as I can, and there is stillness that I find within myself when I free my mind of thought and listen to the natural sounds around me. Being in love and suffering heartbreak also inspire me. I capture field recordings that may be the missing component to a song/sound-piece that I am working on.

I would invest in upgrades and repairs for my home recording studio. I would purchase a video camera and green screen setup for creating music videos and experimental films. I would use part of the money to fund the mixing, mastering, pressing, and promotion of the experimental Hip-Hop/spoken word album that I am currently working on, my debut full length solo project. I would enroll in guitar and voice lessons, and also redesign my website.
