I create art as a way to understand my thoughts and feelings. Sometimes it’s just easier to draw something than to explain it in words.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I focus more on digital art, though I use the traditional medium to flesh out my ideas! I typically stick with a semi realistic art style, occasionally leaning more towards full realism while throwing aspects of cartoonish and fantasy characteristics into the pieces.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in every day moments and the dynamics between people. I simply cannot function without music, so music is a big inspiration for me. Other artists’ work also influence me, helping me explore new ways to express ideas through my characters.
What would you do with $25,000?The very first thing i’d do is give back to my mother for all she’s ever done for me. Id try and put some aside for future endeavors. Then, I’d also invest in my future by taking college courses toward a degree in education. If there are remaining funds, I would put them toward a car and a better ipad for my digital art.
