I love to create 2D drawings or paintings using graphite, colored pencil, inks, and water color. I often use mixed media techniques to achieve surrealism. I've been tattooing for the past three years and have learned to apply realism to skin as well. I love learning new techniques in tattooing and drawing; I'm always on a mission to better my skills in hopes of expressing my mind more affectively.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from dreams, nature, horror, and other artists! I have always had very vivid dreams of monsters and strange creatures, and have been fascinated by the natural world all my life. I love to combine nature and animals with horror too! When I feel art block, I like to go outside or watch a scary movie.
What would you do with $25,000?As well as a passion for art, I am also very interested in aquatic life and pacific orcas specifically I am beginning college at Southwestern Oregon Community College in the fall to study cetology. It is my dream to integrate marine zoology and art in a way that promotes an awareness about orcas and the vital impact they have on our ecosystem. 25,000 dollars would help me pay for my education and hopefully reach a larger audience with my art!
