I started creating art while going through pain and trauma. While creating I began to notice the connection between healing and creativity.

My favorite type of art is mixed media and steampunk. I love using glass as my canvas. I also enjoy creating altered boxes from scratch. I love altering glass vases and bottles because they are great for creating beautiful home decor. Glass centerpieces are very elegant and are great conversation pieces. I love creating custom art that can last a lifetime.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from feelings. Each piece I create is attached to an emotion I'm experiencing at the moment. I create glitter art when I'm happy and steampunk pieces when I'm in pain. Other times I just allow my creativity to flow and see what comes out. All of my art is freestyle so I'm always excited to see the finished masterpiece.
What would you do with $25,000?If I was awarded the $25,000, I would continue to share my art with the world. I would use the money to reopen my art studio and be of service to children in the community and homeless artist living on the streets. I would purchase art supplies and allow kids and other artist to come into the studio and create for free. I like working with children. I enjoy helping them explore their inner creativity while helping them heal their inner wounds. I know from my personal experiences art saves lives.
