I turn consciousness, emotion, and science into a visual mythology of adaptation.

My favorite art to create is symbolic, science-inspired work that turns invisible inner states into visual worlds. I’m drawn to pieces that feel both biological and mythic, where neuroscience, emotion, and personal transformation meet. Through color, texture, and form, I build images that explore adaptation, consciousness, and the hidden architecture of being human.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the places where biology becomes story. As a neuroscientist, my research explores how the body and brain adapt, especially during motherhood, and as an artist, I transform those invisible processes into symbolic images. I’m inspired by Carl Jung, dreams, emotion, and the inner architecture of consciousness, but also by my own life, growing up in Türkiye, being raised by powerful women, and learning that adaptation is both a scientific process and a deeply human one.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest it in growing this work into a larger platform at the intersection of art and science. It would support new pieces, better production, and future exhibitions, while helping me create a more accessible language around adaptation, consciousness, and women’s health. My goal is not only to create art, but to create a world people can enter, one that transforms invisible realities into something seen, felt, and shared.
