I build from memory—layered with hidden objects and survival. Nature unfolds through trees and animals, holding secrets and healing.

I build trees, flowers, and animals from memory—layered in mixed media and watercolor with hidden objects from my past. Inspired by nature’s cycles—what falls, rebuilds, and blooms again—my work reflects survival, healing, and renewal. Each piece holds quiet secrets of resilience, where shadow and light exist together.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in nature’s quiet resilience—trees that bloom after barrenness, birds that rebuild, and life that returns in every season. Through walking, gardening, and observing the world around me, I’m reminded that healing is constant, and beauty is born from both loss and renewal.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use $25,000 to expand my studio practice and create larger works rooted in nature—trees, flowers, and animals built from paint and found objects. My intention is not only to create, but to offer spaces of healing through art. I hope my work helps others feel less alone, more connected, and reminded of their own ability to grow through life’s seasons.
