I make art for the fact that maybe someone can be inspired to also do it as many people never get past the fear of doing something.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
The medium of Film and photography are my favriotes types of art to create as the idea of creating a story just out of one single frame can be so captivating. Photography is the definition of this but film just stretch's this to where you can have so much more creative freedom and liberty with it and still tell a captivating story with so many tiny details one could never imagine.
Where do you find inspiration?A lot of my own inspiration comes from my own life as i am currently living with my parents and brothers in one of the most hispanic parts of new york city where storys happen here on a daily, just the slight encounter with something or someone could lead to a million dollar idea. But a person I do grab a lot of inspiration from is my grandfather as he was a college professor who had his own addiction problems, but always put it aside to focus on the better future of his students no matter what.
What would you do with $25,000?First I would vaccinate my dog as i found him tied to a pole in the middle of the night and left for dead however I am too tight on money to get him the proper help he needs. Secondly help my parents out as my mother lost her job and has been searching for one for months now and dad cant support us all. Finally with whatever money I have leftover to put forward with my education as I am going to study out of state in Georgia and it would greatly help me on the finical side, Thank you.
