I paint because I see the world in a positive light and I use colors as emotions. I want people to see themselves in the art and smile.

I love painting with oil and the painting experience has made me feel better about myself and the world. It’s fascinating to be able to create paintings that portray people, their experiences, and expressions. Portraiture is my favorite! I love blending colors and oil makes it fun! I have so many ideas and can have a dozen or so paintings going on at once! That gives me the freedom to move from one to another while they dry. Likewise, I love to write poetry and tell the story about the art!
Where do you find inspiration?Most of my inspiration comes from life experiences. I am also fond of fantasy. I have a technology background which makes me as an artist very unique. I am able to conceptualize a great deal of detail. I get really excited when I imagine an experience and paint it in vivid colors and shape. As a wellness advocate, my inspiration is derived from positive life experiences or people/things I observe and admire. I’m most inspired by people or experiences that exude confidence or brilliance!
What would you do with $25,000?I would use most of it to invest in my art and also share with some people who are close to me.
