My favorite kind of acting is voice acting. Giving life to imaginary characters or taking someone's imagination for a ride with just the voice is so powerful to me. Making animated characters feel real and ground is not easy to do, but to see a vocal performance make an audience become emotionally attached to a character is such a wonder to behold. The same can be said for audio book and radio dramas. It's the oldest form of our art. Pure, simple, and powerful.
Where do you find inspiration?I find my greatest inspiration in the voices that I hear in animated features and audio book. Some of the best performances that come to mind are from animated series such as "Arcane" and "Castlevania." Audiobooks read by some of the greatest classical actors of their time such as Sir Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen.
What would you do with $25,000?The prize money would really help me get back on my feet financially. The past couple of years have been really hard and I find myself, once again, living paycheck to paycheck. With this prize money I can finally get back to investing into my craft. To get myself ever closer to becoming a self supporting artist.
