I love to create art because it lets me express myself freely through hidden concepts or how I was feeling while it was created
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favourite art to make is one that resonates with my community. I often do commission work and genuinely listen as to why they are asking for this art. I love to paint artwork that not only connects with me but who I’m commissioning from aswell.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration through my grandfather. He used to be an artist when he was younger and the look on his face when he found out I got into all types of art was something that can only be described as ineffable. Being able to keep alive what he once saw in his younger self is what keeps me going and bring into the emotions I love to portray into my work.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000 I would want divide it into 3 different sections. First, I’d give back to my community. It has always been my dream to have enough money to give back to my community where it is needed. I would want to do this through helping others with meals, necessities and getting them back on their feet. Second, I’d use a portion to prepare for college, such as home appliances. My third section I would save for college to contribute towards my tuition and other educational expenses.
