I create to decode life’s complexity, using story as a Trojan horse to make people feel seen, challenged, and transformed.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I’m drawn to character-driven storytelling across film, writing, and visual art—work that feels entertaining on the surface but reveals deeper psychological and emotional layers over time. I like using genre as a Trojan horse to explore identity, perception, and transformation, creating stories that feel human, reflective, and quietly confronting.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in overlooked details—conversations, environments, and the emotional patterns people don’t always notice. A lot of my ideas come from observing how people adapt, cope, and express themselves under pressure. I’m also inspired by film, music, and urban spaces, where culture, struggle, and creativity intersect in ways that tell stories without needing explanation.
What would you do with $25,000?I’d invest it into producing a slate of microbudget films under my production company, building a body of work that reflects my voice and creative range. It would also support the early development of my apparel brand and public speaking platform, allowing me to expand storytelling beyond film into fashion and live dialogue—creating a connected ecosystem around my work.
