Art lets me turn emotion, chaos, humor, and survival into something honest and beautiful
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love creating emotionally driven mixed-media art, especially painting and ceramics. I’m drawn to imperfect, textured pieces that feel alive and human rather than overly polished. I like art that tells a story or captures a feeling people recognize but can’t always explain out loud. Sometimes my work is playful and chaotic, and other times it comes from deeper emotional places, but I love when art makes people stop and feel something real
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in people, emotion, music, memory, survival, and everyday human chaos. A lot of my inspiration comes from observing relationships, resilience, humor, heartbreak, healing, and the strange beauty inside ordinary moments. I’m also inspired by nature, texture, old objects, storytelling, and artists who create fearlessly without trying to make everything perfect
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in creating more art, expanding my creative space, working with new materials, and dedicating more time and energy to developing my work seriously
