Painting with Oil, cold wax, mixed media, acrylics and variety of mediums. My work varies. Impressionism, Landscape, abstracted figures. Tossing out a reference material early on in its creation as the piece is speaking to your soul what do next and you have to trust for gut or the Art muse whispering in your ear.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in dreams, music, interesting architecture, art nouveau, travel and depicting a scene often with bold color and strokes full of emotion. Once I created an oil with cold wax picture featuring various yellows, because I wanted to better understand a color I did not use enough. Taking an old painting and just covering it up an creating something new and unexpected.
What would you do with $25,000?Go on an art workshop/ retreat in another country and take my 30 year son to paint with me. We inspire each other and often work on one a piece of art collaboratively and we have not traveled with each other in a long time. Jared is a 2d digital animation artist and fine artist trying to break out in children's films as a story board artist. We had an art show many years ago in Germany called" WHO influences WHO". Mother & son show. We rocked that show when he was about 10.
