I create art to feel alive, and to make myself and others happy. Using it as a form of therapy at times from this crazy world we live in.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I absolutely love to create art of just about any subject, on canvas, walls, skin or anything I can get my hands on. I’ve even painted on a live horse once. I enjoy doing pieces to make myself happy, self expression, or for others enjoyment. Art is so therapeutic for many, so I also like to incorporate colors to bring about certain emotions.
Where do you find inspiration?Sometimes my art is a deep dive into healing, other times it’s just for simple pleasure. I find inspiration in the things around me, life’s challenges, memories, my passions, and even through various meditation practices. Since I was a child I have always been drawn to create, at times there is more of a spiritual journey to break free of the chains of everyday life.
What would you do with $25,000?I would like to find a small undeveloped piece of land of my own to create an artist retreat/camp for humans and animals, and would love to open it to other like minded artists and nature lovers. I know 25,000 might not be enough for that, but it would be a great start to making my dreams come true and bringing art and healing into others lives.
