I create portraits to capture the essence of those we love-whether cherished pets or special people-and share that joy through art.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love painting contemporary realism because it lets me capture real emotion and personality in a modern way, bringing real life to the canvas.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration through photos and the stories people share about their animals and loved ones, which help me understand their personality on a deeper level. I’m also inspired by other artists and by what people enjoy visually, whether that’s bright colors or different styles of art. I often pull from everyday moments and the emotion I see in both people and animals to bring more meaning into my work.
What would you do with $25,000?If I had $25,000, I would use it toward getting a reliable car because it would truly make my life easier and give me more freedom to get where I need to go. I would also invest in my art and start working toward a goal I care deeply about—finding a way to use my paintings to support animal shelters and help pets get adopted. I’m still figuring out exactly how, but it’s something I genuinely want to build and grow into.
