My favorite type of art is landscape and surrealism. I have a deep love for painting organically, especially if I can make up the landscape instead of following a reference.
Where do you find inspiration?I find it in many places. When I sit outside in my wooded neighborhood and see the wildlife, when I go to the indoor botanical gardens, when I watch my sister dance, when I listen to my music, when I wa5ch my friends and loved ones; I find inspiration, wonder, and beauty in every aspect of my life. I'm currently student teaching for Art Ed K-12 and seeing my students get inspired inspires me even more to teach, create, and learn more everyday!
What would you do with $25,000?I would put most of it to paying off my student loan debt. I would also try to start an art business or website. My long term goal is to have my own private studio to exhibit, sell, and teach from. There are many other things I would put it towards, but using it for other means to make money will be more helpful. I know that comparing $25,000 and the cost of these things might be off and I would still have a long way to go, but it would be an amazing start!
