Its a therapeutic technique allows myself to see things from a different perspective, and reconnecting back to my indigenous culture.

I am very curious, so trying new artistic techniques from other cultures and learning their history makes a deeper appreciation for art itself. My favorite art to create includes diving into culture whether its my own or another being a curious cat opens more doors to better understanding people. Individual History of a person tells more than words, but to see it on canvas or notebook paper is so much better.
Where do you find inspiration? Most of my inspiration comes from my Navajo culture. Being able to blend my cultural history with modern artistic styles and pop culture is a challenge within itself. I am heavily inspired by R.C. Gorman, a navajo artist who had a different view of beauty even during his personal struggles.
What would you do with $25,000?To be frank I would first pay for rent, utilities and finally get a full tank of gas. With inflation and being a fulltime student and three part time jobs its hard. Then I would give most of it to my mother, and sister all to help raise my nephew. He has a curious mind and loves to draw, paint and even build his own toys to his liking. Whatever is left I would invest into new art supplies. Before I couldn't afford a fine tip brush, as a result I would use sewing needles to make precise lines.
