My favourite art to make is art that I can make with any tool I have on hand or medium I find in a drawer somewhere, so long as I can move the idea and energy from my body into the world. Maybe that’s ink and watercolours, or maybe it’s fine metals and flameworked glass. My favourite art to create is simply an expression of Me.
Where do you find inspiration?My inspiration comes from being a hunter of patterns. I’m drawn to the "weird things" others miss—a frame in a movie, a carpet pattern, or the curve of an eyelash bulb. I research repeating symbols until they click, then combine that logic with the flow of divine inspiration and the focused intention of my spell work. I capture these specific moments and move them into the world.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to invest in my studio infrastructure and the freedom to simply create on my own terms in my own space.
