I create art to build space for healing, memory, empathy, & Black + LGBTQIA visibility. When marginalized voices are heard, we all benefit.

Receive Text UpdatesI create multidisciplinary work (painting, collage, sculpture, installation, AR, and film) rooted in indigenous, marginalized and African diasporic symbolism. My work intentionally activates space, holds memory, and invites dialogue. I create art and environments where people feel seen, connected, and part of a larger shared human mission to heal our species and our world.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in ancestral memory, Black, trans + queer histories, and everyday acts of compassion and care. I’m shaped by African diasporic traditions - by artists, writers, and organizers who have elevated and charted a pathway toward liberation. I’m inspired by the voices, visions and experiences of the diverse groups of people who gather at the Queer Arts Center Gallery and how they transform space into a place where we honor healing, embrace the human collective, and uplift truth.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to directly sustain + expand programming at the Queer Arts Center Gallery—a Black QT-led space rooted in art, healing, compassion + social justice for all beings. These funds would support exhibitions, workshops, + accessible programming for art that offers humanizing experiences. QAC Gallery exists in direct response to the inequities of the art world. This funding ensures that our black, indigenous, QT art space remains open, active, and healing for all humans.
