Sketching feels like evoking a kind of holy presence that makes me feel at one with all things. I want to use art to bring stories to life.

I love drawing portraits and figures, roses and landscapes. I've recently really enjoyed playing with the duality that neon colors can offer a work when the lights are switched off and a black light is turned on. I think it creates really lively and magical effects. Colored pencils are my most favorite medium and watercolor and ink as well. I want to get into oils eventually since I have such a fondness for portraits, but I just don't have the space right now. I also really love photography.
Where do you find inspiration? From spiritually and storytelling mostly. Most of the paintings I've done or projects I've started have felt like stills in an animation to me. I can see them moving to the next part of the story as if they are asking to come to life, to evolve, and discover the next part of the story. My own emotions and symbolism tend to fuel the fire of my creativity as well.
What would you do with $25,000?I would pay off my debts and go back to school for art and computer science. I want to have my own studio some day for traditional painting and drawing, and be able to afford the digital tools for creating animations and graphic novels as well. I would also like the knowledge and know-how to protect myself, others, and artworks from cyber attacks and predators with the ethical hacking I would learn with my computer science degree. (I would like to legally change my name to the name I prefer)
