Abstract art. Because it’s wild, boundless, and free. It holds infinite possibilities, much like life itself. Sometimes it feels overwhelming and scary. But when I surrender, it guides me to a place where I create from a pure space without limits where I can let emotion speak. The more I release expectation, fear, and perfectionism, the stronger the work becomes. It teaches me patience and surrender, always bringing me back to my center.
Where do you find inspiration?Love and the longing to be seen. Beauty, both surface and depth, rooted in the moral core of the human heart. I’m inspired by raw emotion and nature - both honest, unspoken, and free of explanation or excess. Feeling beyond words, stripped of fluff, found in quiet stillness. I tap into my heart and let my hand follow. Things begin to happen, often surprising me. I’m not sure who the doer is, but surely it isn’t fully me.
What would you do with $25,000?I would buy myself the luxury of time. Time to create without urgency. Time to live more slowly and fully. Time to smell flowers, to breathe, to be present. Time to return to oil painting. That’s pretty much it.
