I create art to capture time. Whether that’s holding a camera or a pencil. To stop and create is so important to allow connection.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I create anything and everything that I can. I've tried so many different art forms to learn and try new things. I really enjoy woodburning and graphite art forms the best, although I have done many works with spray paint, acrylic paint, colored pencil, woodworking, photography, videography, and graphic design.
Where do you find inspiration? My biggest inspiration starting to sketch and draw as a young child was a lot of Disney and Cartoon Network. As I grew up, life in general started to inspire me. The way a song moved me, the way a person impacted me, the way I felt on a hike, how I felt during an event, it doesn't matter what's around me, If I'm breathing, I know that the world still has more to show me and inspire me.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to help fund my studio to reach out to the community more and help other artists. I want this to be more about community than the money itself. My mission with my work is to connect with people. To share life through our work and how we create. I want my work to help people, whether that be local businesses, other artists, or a stranger. It would be a blessing and honor to be able to use it and help serve my community.
