Art is expression of the heart & soul. All the feelings bottled up, every scream snuffed out. The light of escape is in darkness itself.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Horror, macabre, and gothic themes mostly, but it is whatever I feel in the moment. I really enjoy blending mixed media together. My current obsession is alcohol markers with colored pencils.
Where do you find inspiration? The joys and pains in life. Art has been my coping mechanism for years, through my mental health and especially since being diagnosed with a laundry list of health issues and struggling with becoming disabled and coming to terms with it all.
What would you do with $25,000?First I'd take my wife to Disney World since she's never been able to go and she deserves it after helping me through all my medical issues. Then I'd get a load of supplies and materials to finally set up my shop and try new mediums I haven't had access to before. I do also want to be able to subscribe to some classes of a few professional artists I follow to continue to learn and develop my style and techniques.
