I create to connect the natural with the industrial …pay homage to the rust belt. I love it and couldn’t imagine my life without art.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love used repurposed materials such as wood, metals and glass. I love giving new life to forgotten and discarded medias. I get to showcase my love for my area in of the country that gave me my start.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration comes from industrial and natural settings. I take what is either looked past or overlooked and make it front and center buildings, florals, and times of day that should be soaked in and experienced longer than they last.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in myself. I would get a bigger studio space in a multi-artist building pushing myself and get larger and more in depth ideas. Honestly…I love what I do, art is more of an addiction then anything…I just want to spend as much time as possible doing what I can’t live without.
