My art comes from my soul and what it has endured. I create art because it’s the one place I don’t have to translate myself.

Poetry, lyrical pieces
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration is a combination of survival, awareness, awakenings and my refusal to be anything but my authentic self or surface level. My lived experiences, my trauma, my unmet needs and expression, the battles and adversity I’ve faced and the abuse, never defined me and the ability for me to turn my pain and life experiences into something that inspires someone to love themselves more, than that’s inspiration enough for me to keep creating.
What would you do with $25,000?I would definitely donate some to TWLOHA and a Domestic Violence Shelter, as well as the hotline. If I won I would like to open a firm where legal assistance and victim advocacy and counseling is in one place and affordable for anyone in a Domestic Violence situation and is ready to take back their life. As a survivor myself, I had very limited to no support or resources, which made the process of my leaving that much more difficult. I’d like to change that if I won.
