I love making paintings and sometimes videos (pocket docs, stop motion animations).
Where do you find inspiration?I am mostly inspired by nature and how wonderfully complex it is- human nature is of course a part of that but it’s sometimes less compelling than biomorphs or plant medicines. Really what can’t inspire you when you’ve made a choice to get on the whimsy wagon and see life for all the wonder it presents you with everyday.
What would you do with $25,000?I would take a break from my day job and work on art for 6 months straight- and even longer if I could get away with it. I would plan and self fund an art show during that time and invite other artists in my town to participate. I would create a book of the artwork we show and give it to the artists and the community at as low a cost as possible (ideally free). I live in a pretty small town so hopefully this would all be doable on the budget.
