Art has had such a huge impact in my life ever since I was a chid. I love being able to bring joy to other people’s hearts
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
That’s a hard one for the simple fact I love to combine things . It’s like an old recipe, a little bit of this a little bit of that. But if I had to choose, it would be encaustic. I love the smell of the beeswax and doing the different layers, carving into it painting over it re-melting it. It’s just satisfying.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration comes from the simplest things . from how someone tilts their head to how a tree shadow reflects in the water. It’s like a photograph that I just snapped in my mind and I feel it deep in my soul and go from there
What would you do with $25,000?What would I do with 25,000 ? I would get a bigger studio and restart my muse project . Taking student who wouldn’t be able to study art . Mentor them, show them from scratch how to build their own frames . Teach them to paint and how to put together shows , how to run a gallery . Take them to workshops and museums so we can learn and experience as much art as we can .
