You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Oil on various sizes of canvas, but also making plywood sea creature ornaments, and pottery.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration for me is realizing I am alive every day and appreciating the awe of it. Additionally, I’m inspired by learning new painting techniques by other artists, family, friends, living by the Gulf, walks at the beach, and in tuning into nature (I.e. birds, manatees, dolphins, pelicans, lizards). The simple things in life.
What would you do with $25,000?Oh geeze - this is a hard question. I’d give at least 5K to the Bird Sanctuary near where I live and to a a rescue facility for animals. With the rest I would use it for art supplies and money for a home or retirement.
