I created large-scale textured abstract landscapes inspired by beaches and horses to bring calm, grounded energy into homes and offices.

My favorite type of art to create is expressive abstract neutral work that feels fun to paint and calm to look at. And I love to add lots of textured layers to make it fun to touch and feel. And I like to add small details like horses because they’re a fun challenge to paint and they have a calming energy to them.
Where do you find inspiration?I’m often inspired by moments that feel light hearted such as horseback riding in the beach at sunset. Or watching the water sparkle as the sun goes down. Those calming, quiet moments fill my soul and beg to be created in the canvas to experience those moments again and again and bring that calm energy into homes and offices.
What would you do with $25,000?I’d invest it into more art supplies of course, and also into horseback riding lessons to inspire new horse artworks and a beach vacation where I can ride horses on the beach and inspire future works :)
