I don’t love to create art so much as I NEED to create art…. It expresses a piece of my soul.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Portraiture, figurative, and animal portraits are my favorite subjects; I prefer painting: oils, encaustic, watercolor, and pastels, and printmaking: relief-printing, monotype, and etching. I love experimenting with different media, but my primary focus is to express the beauty of sentience and soul of my subjects.
Where do you find inspiration? In the people that I see and meet every day in their natural environments, interacting with each other and with their companion animals.
What would you do with $25,000?Two things: I would convert my two-car garage into my at-home year-round studio, and I would travel abroad to see all the wonderful European art museums: Paris, Amsterdam, Florence, London, and wherever else struck my fancy as part of my continued education in the arts!
