I’ve always loved creating art because it makes me feel whole, it’s who I am, it’s a part of me!
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love creating many types of art. I’m a tattoo artist so I think tattooing a piece that will follow someone until they pass is something very special, it’s a unique form of art that will never be seen again. And working on a moving canvas that changes all the time according to the types of skins, placements, etc adds an extra challenge that is very appealing to me! I also love digital, sculpting, markers… if there’s a way I can take all of my imagination out on something I want to do it!
Where do you find inspiration?I love to follow other types of artists on social medias, in magazines, Tattoo Conventions and talk and share about our knowledge. We can learn so much from other people and that’s very precious! I’m absolutely in LOVE with the NEWSCHOOL tattoo style where you can change perspectives and warp dimensions and create realistic subjects doing unrealistic things. To me that’s the beauty of art; it’s taking something you know and having the imagination to change it up and make it interesting and fun!
What would you do with $25,000?Being self-employed, it would help pay for very important house repairs to make our home more “livable”. And we just lost my stepdad a month ago, my mom is having an incredibly hard time since his passing and she’s living in our very unfinished basement at the moment, so I would love to be able to help my mom get back on her feet and find her a small apartment.
