My two main joys in art are tattoos, and painting. I love bio organic pieces on any medium. This style is a perfect exercise in both precision as well as staying loose letting the piece find you.
Where do you find inspiration?My inspiration comes from all things in nature. I find cool textures from different types of rocks, bark, crustaceans, feathers, leaves, crystals etcetera. The same thing applies for interesting flows and shapes. Some of the best references for me are different bones from mammals or gnarly twisted branches on the ground. Bonus inspiration points for anything with mushrooms growing on it.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest heavily into my storefront and art studio to further my goals of having an open to the public art station. A huge goal I have is to do art classes as way to give back to the community and encourage early learning for kids looking for a healthy outlet. Tables, chairs, art supplies, advertising small events. Anything and everything that could help bring local artists together to share their skills with the next generations of creators.
